BUENOS AIRES

I have studied in different countries, but this experience was awesome! My teacher Cecilia worked as a professional but she was also polite and fun, and I consider her a friend. Thanks Cecilia for your patience, smile and company! Ileana was always in a good mood, and she always participated in the activities. In my opinion, she is the foundation of the school. It was a lovely experience!

I enjoyed an experience that included good activities to know the city and the other students better. But, most of all, I learnt a lot thanks to the quality of the teachers. They were not only my teachers but also my friends. My family could not have been better, we have become very good friends, I got on well with Francisco who is an excellent cook. Now I have a place to stay next time I am in Buenos Aires.

With respect to the activities, I was impressed by the philharmonic orchestra and the tango classes, I learnt how to dance a little. But the most important thing for me is that the waiter of Mr Mate taught me how to prepare a GOOD mate.

I recommend:

- although you are on holidays, please do the homework, it will help you.
- read.
- even if it is difficult for you, speak Spanish with the other students, not only with the Argentine. You will not learn anything speaking your own language!!

TI liked my time in TANDEM. The teachers are very good and effective. I loved that there was always something to do at nights. My family was the best. In short, I would not change anything about my experience in TANDEM.
I enjoyed the activities a lot. My favourite one was tango classes at Mr Mate.

Tandem has the best program and teacher I have ever had. The information that Ileana gave me about the city and Buenos Aires way of living was very useful. Congratulations on TANDEM personnel!!!! It is hard to come back to daily routine life!

I stayed in a flat with Argentine girls. I got on well with my flatmates.

I enjoyed all the trips organized by the school. I think it is good to practice Spanish and to get to know the city. I participated in lots of activities. I went to Tigre, to Uruguay and to the Empanadas party!.

This school is excellent. It is well located, the teachers are professional and the people are friendly, especially Ileana and Megumi because they care a lot about the students.

Everything is very good!!!! I love the school and I recommend it to everyone!! It organizes lots of activities that help us enjoy the city!. Attention in the office is excellent!

The professors at TANDEM are very professional. Classes are planned according to each student´s skill and need. The school is sensitive to the fact that students have come to Bariloche to learn Spanish and to learn about the culture. As a result, a student ends her course well rounded in Spanish Culture with a firm foundation in the language. In regards to my host family, it was perfet for me. Her home was very clean and neat.

I could neither speak nor write in Spanish when I arrived. The teachers gave me a lot of attention and were very helpful. There are lots of opportunities to speak Spanish,not only in class but also in the extra activities; which, by the way, are so many. CORDOBA

I stayed in Cordoba, Argentina for little over two months and loved it. I attended classes while I was there and thought that the teachers were excellent. Not only were they intelligent but they were all very friendly and fun people to go out with and to get to know. I picked Cordoba because I felt like I could learn more there than in Buenos Aires. While I was attending TANDEM, I attended most activities that were held because they were usually a lot of fun. My favorite was camping in the mountains with Rolo and his friends.

My family was the best. I did not know much Spanish and they were very patient and helpful. They absorbed me into the family fold and I felt very comfortable and safe. They were open to all my questions and helped me to adapt.
Two weeks is not enough! Many students came and went while we were here and I feel in 5 weeks I had an invaluable experience. The most frequent comment I heard from other students was "I wish I could stay longer".

I have really enjoyed studying Spanish at TANDEM. The staff are extremely friendly and always ready to answer any questions whether it is about the course or not, they join to provide one local knowledge. My teacher Guadalupe has always been very patient with me when I did not quite understand and really made my classes interesting by incorporating local culture and history in the lessons. This is my fortune, studying Spanish, and TANDEM have provided a great foundation for me to continue learning Spanish.
